Hey, I’m TC!

The mind (and hands) behind Yardie Gyal Qsine. I’ve loved cooking my entire life. From being a little girl learning traditional Bajan and Jamaican home cooking in my grandmas’ kitchens to sneaking and staying up late to watch Emeril, Rachel Ray, Carla Hall, Alton Brown, or Iron Chef Japan and pick up cooking techniques from around the world right in my bedroom.

After flirting with the idea of becoming a professional chef, and telling everyone for years that was my calling, I realized being in the back of a restaurant kitchen wasn’t for me. My joy comes from seeing firsthand the real-time up close reactions of my friends and family as we share a meal I made just for them.

My passion comes from the creativity of crafting and trying new recipes and the satisfaction of sharing them with the people I love. Now, I’d love to share them with you! If you decide to become a part of the Q-Crew, you’ll get a front row seat on my journey of culinary exploration and growing as a home cook.
